It was 1989 during my studies in the “city that never sleeps” that I discovered, almost by what some may call “coincidence,” the Integral Yoga Institute founded by His Holiness Sri Swami Satchidanandaji Maharaj. Here I acquired a deep understanding and appreciation for the body, mind and spirit interconnectedness and how to silence the mind and nurture the body. This place had a strong influence on me, and was the first step towards my journey into the world of Integral Medicine and Naturopathy.
I received my 200 h Yoga teacher certificate from Rachel Hull (shakti – spirit) in combination with Dr. Sujharta who taught simultaneously the Vedic wisdom of Ayurveda.
My yoga journey has been guided by many wonderful and wise teachers dedicated to the traditional wisdom of yoga, yoga philosophy and yoga therapy.I would like to acknowledge all teachers who have guided my journey and continue to inspire me:
